Mamanuca Environment Society (MES) is a non Governmental Organization that was established in the year 2002. Located in Nadi (western part of Viti Levu), the MES is committed to protecting the marine and terrestrial environment of the Mamanuca groups of islands.
The society’s mission is to promote the awareness of the need to protect the marine and terrestrial resources of the Mamanuca region and
to assist, through partnerships with local communities, tourism operators, government and non government organisations, in the environmentally sustainable development of these resources for the benefit of present and future generations.
